Good concept, Sud de France – well done!
I vini Sud de France sono tutti assai interessanti, ma quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stato il Cigalus IGP Pays d’Oc cuvèe 2008, un bianco di grande carattere ed ampiezza olfattiva, morbido ed elegante, sapido e sostenuto sa una bella acidità. Al secondo posto il rosso Dromadaire Pays d’Oc cuvèe 2006, ricco di fersonalità fruttata al naso e dove il tannini morbidi ed eleganti si fondono perfettamente con l’alcol, gli estratti e una bella freschezza acida.

ieur d’Arques, AOC/AOP Crémant de Limoux, Grande Cuvée 1531: bella evoluzione in bottiglia delle uve Chardonnay utilizzate. Note di tostatura, boiserie, freschezza e buona sapidità. Ottimo esempio di come le bollicine possono conquistare anche se non provengono sempre dalla Champagne…
Cigalus, VDP/IGP Pays d’Oc, cuvée 2008: note di vaniglia, uso del legno corretto, ma utilizzo in eccesso. Struttura robusta e bella finezza. Piacevole al palato, fresco, buona acidità. Sentori di fiori bianchi, vaniglia, leggera speziatura. Ottimo con foie gras e pesce.
Rosé: bottiglia rotta alla consegna, non valutabile.
Dromadaire 30670, VDP/IGP Pays d’Oc, cuvée 2006: profumi di mora di rovo, composta di marmellata di ciliegia, liquerizia, cuoio, speziatura. In bocca: piacevolezza, tannini leggermente spigolosi fanno pensare a un vino con un ottimo futuro davanti a se, in evoluzione
Mas de Madame, AOC/AOP Muscat de Frontignan, cuvée 2006: ottime note di frutta surmatura, marmellata di fichi, pesca gialla, al palato grande dolcezza. Ottimo da gustare con foie gras, formaggi erborinati tipo Stilton, gorgonzola italiano, raschera Dop.
Cosiderazioni: Se i vini sono questi, Languedoc-Roussillon non può che attendere un futuro di successo.
